Raleigh and I had a really nice weekend away this last week. Our week wasn't necessarily the greatest and so it was good timing that we were able to get away. I had found a really good deal for the Hotel Del Coronado online so we decided to splurge (still, even after a good deal it was a splurge) and go for it! This hotel is a national historical landmark, and has a lot of character to it. It's gorgeous, and is so unique, so it was a pleasure to stay there. We just spent one night and hung out on Coronado Island and Downtown San Diego for a lot of the time. We were also able to see a Padre's game, which was fun too! So here are the pictures. We were back in time for Easter at church but just thought we'd take advantage of the three day weekend for us, since we both had Good Friday off!

I'm looking at your blog through Kari's page and I have to say that Coronado Island is my favorite place ever. I lived in San Diego for a year and I always dreamed of being able to stay at the hotel at least once in my life. I'm so jealous. I hope it was awesome!

Lovely weekend it looks like you had! WE just got home from Cali ourselves, although we were in Cambria and Visalia! bummer we were to far away to come see you guys! That would have been fun! Maybe next time!
